Harmony Day is about inclusiveness\, respect and belonging for all Australians\, regardless of cultural or linguistic background\, united by a set of core Australian values.  \n\n\n\nHeld every year on 21 March. The Day coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Since 1999\, more than 70\,000 Harmony Day events have been held in childcare centres\, schools\, community groups\, churches\, businesses and federal\, state and local government agencies across Australia.

DESCRIPTION:The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 March the International Day of Forests in 2012. \n\n\n\nThe organizers are the United Nations Forum on Forests and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)\, in collaboration with Governments\, the Collaborative Partnership on Forests and other relevant organizations in the field. \n\n\n\nThe Day celebrates and raises awareness of the importance of all types of forests. On each International Day of Forests\, countries are encouraged to undertake local\, national and international efforts to organize activities involving forests and trees\, such as tree planting campaigns. The theme for each International Day of Forests is chosen by the Collaborative Partnership on Forests.

DESCRIPTION:World Water Day is an annual UN observance day (22 March) that highlights the importance of freshwater. The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. The theme of each day focuses on topics relevant to clean water\, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)\, which is in line with the targets of Sustainable Development Goal 6. The UN World Water Development Report (WWDR) is released each year around World Water Day. \n\n\n\nUN-Water is the convener for World Water Day and selects the theme for each year in consultation with UN organizations that share an interest in that year’s focus.
