We offer a range of activities at our functioning wetland for your students to investigate and learn about the importance of an urban wetland environment including its role in water management and the habitat it provides for many local species. The Urrbrae Wetland conducts a broad range of environmentally based activities for pre-school, primary, middle and secondary school. These activities are all linked to the Australian Curriculum learning areas including general capabilities and cross curriculum priorities.Favourite activities include collecting and identifying the Aquatic Macroinvertebrates as well water testing to monitor the functioning of the wetlands. We have Covid-19 protocols in place to ensure everyone’s safety so tickets for this event are limited.
