Student Leaders for Sustainability Forum
Calling all passionate students, student leaders and school environment groups from schools located in the northern Adelaide region.
Students with a passion or interest in sustainability are invited to attend Green Adelaide’s upcoming student leaders for sustainability forum. The forum is an opportunity for young people to connect with like-minded students and to share and learn from each other in a students teaching students format. Attendees are encouraged to share about sustainability initiatives (existing or planned) at their school, and Green Adelaide Education Officers will provide support and tools to assist with taking action back at school.
When: Term 3 Week 6 – Thursday 31st August 2023
Time: 10am to 2pm schools arrive at 9:50am for a 10am start
Where: Parafield Gardens R-6 School – 23 Shepherdson Road, Parafield Gardens.
Who:
- Passionate students, student leaders and school environment groups
- (3-4 students from each school*).
- The forum is tailored to students in years 4 to 8.
- Please note, students must be accompanied by a teacher.
- *Extra students will be considered, please contact us below.
What to Bring:
- Recess & Water bottle
- A few photos of sustainability projects at your site to stick up on the wall and share
- Photo permission forms (if not emailed)

Students sharing what they are doing or planning to do at their school.
